Abstract

Health care is moving towards a modern era of nanotechnology especially considering the futuristic aspects of nanomedicine in field of dentistry and its specialties. The advent of artificial intelligence in the field of technology has led to emergence of nanorobotics which has remarkably changed the health care scenario in today’s world. The recent development in nanotechnology have various applications in orthodontic dentistry to facilitate better treatment outcome, from the management and diagnosis of treatment for dental patients to helping dentist in patient care, nanorobots have played a vital role. The blooming augmented reality with latest concept of nanotechnology has paved the way for nanorobots covering the broader areas of medical science. However, Nanorobots have not been introduced completely to dental field, hence this review article highlights the application of nanorobots and the futuristic aspects of artificial intelligence in dentistry.
