Abstract
The objective of this research was to examine the influence of employment demands on the operational efficiency of healthcare facilities located in Saudi Arabia. The aim of this research endeavour was to evaluate the performance and job requirements of personnel employed in public hospitals situated in the Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia. The present investigation utilised a quantitative cross-sectional research design. The study's population comprised healthcare professionals residing in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. A total of 375 healthcare personnel from the Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia comprised the sample. A structured questionnaire was distributed in accordance with the technique of convenient sampling. The approximate response rate was 90%. In the ultimate analysis, 375 questionnaires that were completed accurately were utilised. The investigation employed a combination of descriptive and inferential analysis. The research reveals that the employees exhibited a job performance that was approximately average in nature. Furthermore, the research study identified a robust positive correlation between job demands and employee performance. Various policies are enforced in order to ensure superior performance, contingent upon the job-specific standards. The findings may be extrapolated to other regions due to the study's regional scope, which was limited to the Qassim area. Nevertheless, it is imperative to conduct a replication of this research in other regions of Saudi Arabia utilising the identical variables in order to ascertain its comprehensive generalizability. Similarly, the sample size was relatively limited; researchers may consider increasing the sample size in the future.
