Abstract
Being afflicted infection while in hospital is hazardous for patients all over the world. More than 1.4 million people worldwide suffer from -hospital acquired infections. Five to ten percent of patients admitted to modern hospitals in developed countries have one or more infections, while patients in developing countries have a higher risk, amounting to two to twenty times that number. Patient safety is one of the most important aspects of evaluating healthcare quality. However, healthcare-associated infections are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in hospitals and health centers. It is essential for workers in these centers and hospitals to ensure that the infection control program is implemented in health care facilities. Hence, study aims to assess infection control compliance among nursing personnel in Madinah Hospitals. While there is a substantial body of work that describes infection control behaviors and factors that influence compliance with guidelines, there has been little investigation to reach a deeper the understanding and interpretation of behavior patterns that occur in daily practice. Understanding such behaviors may provide a basic insight into the challenges posed by behavior change. Thus, the main research question in this study is “How can the degree of the application of pathogen infection be evaluated”?
