Abstract

Starting off An EHR allows a doctor or nurse to record patient information digitally. Electronic health records (EHR) allow authorised users to access and utilise patient records. This aids medical professionals in making patient care decisions. The purpose of this research is to examine and contrast the two electronic medical record systems, BestCare and QuadraMed (QCPR), with regard to the clinical standards they incorporate and the efficacy of their supplementary route functionalities. The clinical pathways of QCPR and BestCare EHR were evaluated for their usefulness in terms of their features, performance, tasks, and results using a test case. The study was built via interviews and discussions, and then the strategy was tested in real life. As a Final Product The systems BESTCare and QuadraMed performed admirably on the test of their supportive care pathway features, with average scores of 68.9% and 44.4%, respectively. Now that BestCare has replaced QCPR, everyone at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMCS) will use it. In any case, incorporating a clinical decision support system into EMRs raised the bar for treatment. As a result, doctors were able to perform a better job. However, further research is required before BESTCare can be utilised to fulfil the fundamental requirements of the supportive care pathway positions in KAMC institutions.
