Abstract

Getting going A health care provider can keep track of patient details with an electronic health record (EHR). People who are allowed to can access and use the medical data saved in EHR. This helps doctors decide how to care for their patients. The study's goal is to find out how the two EMR systems—QuadraMed (QCPR) and BestCare—compare in terms of the clinical standards they include and how well their supportive route functions work. We used a test case to see how useful the QCPR and BestCare EHR clinical pathways were in terms of their tasks, features, performance, and results. Interviews and discussions were used to build the study, and then the method was put to the test in real life. The End Result With an average score of 44.4% and 68.9%, the QuadraMed and BESTCare systems did well on the test for their supportive care pathway features. Everyone in King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMCS) will now use BestCare instead of QCPR. That being said The level of care went up when a clinical decision support system was added to electronic medical records (EMRs). It made clinicians do their jobs better. BUT BESTCare needs to be looked into more before it can be used to meet the basic needs of the supportive care route roles in KAMC hospitals.
